Desert Safari Camping Jaisalmer

Located in the western thar desert, the historical city of Jaisalmer was founded by Rawal Jaisal in 1156. The city has a world-famous fort, Jain heritage temples, Gadhisar lake, a War museum, Desert National Park, and other visiting places. The massive fort which is the only living fort is made of sandstone of yellowish color turning to a magical honey-gold as the sun sets. It is nicknamed Sonar Kella (the golden fortress).
